Burutu Council Chairman reappoints LEA Board and others

The Executive Chairman of Burutu Local Government Area, Hon. Godknows Angele, yesterday reappointed Mr. Rufus Oyakebiseimor Eserifa as the Education Secretary, Local Education Authority with mandate to take primary education in the area to greater heights.The appointment of Eserifa followed ratification from the State Universal Basic Education Board following his nomination by the Chairman of Council.Angele while inaugurating the LEA Secretary charge him to build on the standard already set and ensure discipline amongst staff and pupils.The Chairman read part of the SUBEB letter ratifying the appointment as, "I am directed to refer to the letter from the Executive Chairman of Burutu Local Government Council dated 2nd May, 2023 with reference No. P.1898/4 nominating you for re-appointment as the Education Secretary of Burutu Local Government Education Authority and to convey the Board's ratification of your re-appointment."Consequently, you are to commence a second term of four (4) years term of office with effect from 8th June, 2023 to 7th May, 2027."The Chairman aside inaugurating the LEA Board, he also inaugurate the Local Health Board.In his acceptance speech, Eserifa expressed gratitude to the Council Boss for the confidence reposed on him."My Chairman, I am happy for this honour, my team and I will adhere strictly to your agenda, we will maintain the standard and work harmoniously."We know the importance of education cannot be overemphasized and we will not rest in our efforts to go a step higher." He said.
