Okada rider succeeds House of Reps in southern kaduna

An okada rider, Hon. Donatus K. Matthew has reportedly won the federal house of representatives in Southern Kaduna under the umbrella of Labour Party (LP).Matthew who was a councilor during ex-governor Ahmed Makarfi's administration in Kaduna State contested for the Federal House of Representatives, Kaura Federal Constituency in Southern Kaduna senatorial district emerged winner under the Labour Party.According to report, Donatus K. Matthew fell into misfortune after the elapse of his tenure as councillor. Hence, he became an okada rider for years past before this new development. Matthew defeated the Federal House member, Hon. Gideon Gwani Lucas of the People's Democratic Party, PDP to emerge winner in the keenly contested election on Saturday, 25th of February 2023.
