INEC holds mock election in Delta

The Independent Electoral Commission, INEC in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State today held mock election in the area.The election was held at Nana College in Warri, PEBNEWS can report.Virtually all parties including the New Nigerian People's Party, NNPP participated in the election. Their supporters turned up massively.An INEC Staff simply identified as Paul in Warri South Local Government Area said he only took note of two major political parties that participated in the election.Our Correspondent who monitored the exercise report that there was no election in Uvwie Local Government Area.An INEC Desk Officer simply identified as Godspower said the mock election didn't hold in the local government Area. According to him, only selected LGA's were selected.Chairman of INEC Press Corp in Delta State, Festus Ahon in a telephone chat with Our Correspondent said he detailed some of his officers to monitor the exercise. He said he hasn't gotten feedback. He however promised to revert as soon as they return.
